The Navy Jacket: Your first pocket square →

If you’re building up a pocket square collection, try to start out with the basic white cotton/linen squares. I don’t think you can ever go wrong with a white linen pocket square.
There are 3 main fabrics used for pocket squares:
Silk
Cotton
Linen

Proper fit in pictures - The Japanese way

Scanned some images from the October 2011 issue of Men’s Ex, I found it to be quite useful as a rough guide.
1. Shoulders - make sure they are clean and smooth, not bumpy 2. Sleeves - should show 1/2” - 3/4” of sleeve 3. Jacket length - should cover your ass 4. Pant break - no break

This would be my first “real” tailor-made suit, after the several trial and errors through the various tailors in Singapore over the past 4-5 years.
Fabric was Vitale Barberis Canonico’s Super 110s pure wool in Charcoal, one of the better quality fabric found in our tailor…
